Now that you’ve finished Baldur’s Gate 3’s main task, here’s what comes next.
If you want to do everything, Baldur’s Gate 3 can take about 200 hours to beat. After it’s over, you might not feel like the same person. Good thing you can play the game more than once, and there are a lot of other things you can do to pass the time.
On your first playthrough, you likely missed some surprises and unique cutscenes. We don’t have to stop playing just yet. Here are some fun ideas for what to do on your next run or what other games you can play that might be similar.
Replay As An Origin Character

Most likely, the first time you played, you made your own character. It makes sense because you can choose your own class and change your pros and cons as you play. With a beginning character, you can’t change anything about them.
If you re-play as an origin character, you can see things from a different point of view than if you just had them as a friend. You find out more about their life than if you were just a bystander.
Replay As The Dark Urge

The Dark Urge is an origin figure who is one of a kind. Even though it’s still a custom character, you want to kill every live thing you see. You have a bloodthirsty monster inside of you that doesn’t care if you have friends or not.
When you play as this character, it’s risky because you might end up killing allies or important characters in the game. It will be interesting to see if you can resist your urges or if you give in. It could make the game harder or make people less honest.
Play With A Friend

Baldur’s Gate 3 has more than one person. Why spend time and effort trying to make Lae’zel like you when you can just bring a good friend along? You and three other people can play together and take over Faerun.
Fights might be easier if everyone in your party is a real person and not just an AI you have to direct. Sharing this wonderful experience with your friends will be fun because not everyone will agree on the same choices.
Get The Previous Baldur’s Gate Games

The clear answer is to play the Baldur’s Gate games that came out before this one. Even though they are very old, they have figures from Baldur’s Gate 3 and a sense of being familiar.
You don’t have to play the older games to understand what happens in Baldur’s Gate 3, but doing so will let you learn more about the world and its history. Because they are so old, they are cheap, which is a plus.
Play Divinity: Original Sin 2

Larian Studios has a lot of talent and is known for making great magical worlds. They have made games that are almost the same before. Divinity: Original Sin 1 and 2 are good choices if you want more action.
The style of these games is very similar, and they are not that old. In the same way, you can choose a unique character or an origin character and travel through different worlds with a group of interesting people. Yes, you can flirt with them.
Change Your Morality

In your first run of Baldur’s Gate 3, you might have chosen to be a good person, as you should. But whatever you chose to do, you should do the opposite when you play again. Try again as a person who is cynical. People kill harmless people and make bad choices.
You might come across cutscenes and story points that you wouldn’t have seen if you had been playing neutral to good before. There are different ways to play, so you should give it another shot.
Create A Challenge

Talk to your other Dungeons & Dragons players and see if you can come up with a challenge for your next game. Maybe only use strikes that don’t kill, or maybe do a run with no magic? You might want to make things harder for your friends by telling them that you can only use tricks like pushing people off cliffs in fight.
You and your friends can make Wordle Unlimited harder or funnier in a lot of different ways. It makes the game different, so you don’t just do the same thing over and over again.
Replay On The Hardest Difficulty

In Baldur’s Gate 3, there are three hard parts. In easy mode, it’s pretty easy to fight. Balanced mode is a lot like normal mode, but even normal mode can be hard if you don’t get lucky.
If even the easiest mode makes you swear, you can only picture how hard the harder modes are. You have nothing to lose by giving it a try and seeing if you can beat tougher enemies like Auntie Ethel and Dror Ragzlin.
Make An Ilithid Playthrough

When you use your Illithid skills while talking to someone, your Illithid will sing and grow. By eating parasites, you can use your Ilithid skills and get access to new abilities. Some of your friends won’t agree with you if you use its power. You don’t want to do too much and become a Mind Flayer too quickly.
If you haven’t used your Illithid Wisdom and power much, you should do a run where you crave its power and use it every chance you get. You will be strong, but at what price?
